Pincher Creek 10th Annual 3 Rivers Rendezvous

The Pincher Creek Whitewater Festival was a success this year, Chuck and he`s crew did a fantastic job. Also thanks to all trip leaders who helped out with the river runs.
- Best Weather - 28°C most of the weekend and just a little sprinkle of rain on Monday - NO SNOW
- Best Water - Castle rose from 75 cms on Saturday and ran around 100 cms throughout the weekend
- Crowsnest stayed constant at 20 cms all weekend
- Oldman rose from 35 cms and then ran at 50 cms for the rest of the weekend
There was some awesome waves and holes to play in throughout the weekend.
- Best Attendance - 154 paddlers and 27 non-paddlers for a total of 181 people
- Best Beginner Lessons - 14 adults and 8 juniors attended the beginner lessons and another 11 novice paddlers went out on the river trips
- Visitors from away - 1 couple from Australia, many paddlers from BC, and a few from Saskatchewan.
- 45 Edmonton paddlers (20 from UAPS, 5 from NWV, 2 from Ceyana)
- 34 Calgary paddlers (8 from Paddle Junkies, 3 from CKC and 2 from Waterwerks)
- 27 Pinch-o-Crow Creekers paddlers
- 18 Lethbridge paddlers
- 14 Bow Valley Kayak Club paddlers
- 16 from other locations
- Best Female Attendance - 45% of the people attending were women/girls and most of them paddled.
- Great Junior Attendance - 25 kids and teens got out paddling
