Becoming a Paddle Junkies member allows you access to all the benefits as outlined below as well as all the features on this site.

Ensure you submit these documents to the membership team before participating in member only club events and trips.

Junkie online only

You don't have to become a member to paddle with us. But you will miss out on special club functions. However, if you do not wish to become a member but wish to use the features of the site, such as the forum, event and trip organizer, resources and basic kayak profiler. All you need to do is register onto the site to obtain a Paddle Junkie online account.

Membership Costs

Annual Cost:

Individual: $25

Memberships fees are paid annually, and is valid for that calender year, and must be paid before participation for member events.

Membership Benefits

The following describes the benefits of membership and the distribution of fees.

Includes Alberta Whitewater Association Membership (AWA) of $10

Insurance coverage in club and AWA sanctioned events
Access to subsidized AWA programming and paddle festivals.
Access to AWA Clubs programming – participate in an event at another club
Eligible for AWA travel subsidies and sponsorship for competitive youth.

Membership Requirements

The three items listed below must be completed and submitted to our membership team to officially become a member. Once your membership forms have been processed your status on this site will change to reflect. If you have any questions, use the forum or contact membership@paddlejukies.com.
