Bow River (Ghost Dam)
Grade 1+
Put in at Ghost Dam just off of highway 1A. Park on the dam and then carry or slide your boat down the hill. There are big eddies at the put in to practice rolling and ferrying. Most of the run is flat and deep with waves around corners. Surfing is difficult on most features. About 1 or 2 km down, there is a big pool on river right (go right of the island) that is very deep and has a few places to practice seal launches. Halfway down, there are some big eddies and a play hole or two on river left.
